Dr Johan Badenhorst send me a piece he wrote about four years ago. The questions he asked made me think about what it is we need and want from live. One of my prayers everyday is what does God want me to do.
This morning I read from Joh.10:10 :"The thief comes only in order to steal, kill and destroy. I have come in order that you might have life ... life in all its fullness."
Jesus promised us not only life, but life in all it's fullness. Jesus gave it, I need to take it.
Where we are going into the weekend, let this not be the end of the week, but the beginning of life in Jesus. Life in all it's fullness.
A confusing mind
- We start things and then we run into it with the hope other people will do it for us.
- Why do we need people to do it for us.
- Is it because we are financially weak?
- Don’t we value the power of the mind, our experience, the ability to generate ideas, to formulate ideas.
- We can take people on a way they never thought possible – why don’t we do it for ourselves
- We hope that people will do things for us and we belief that they can read our minds
- we rush into deals with the hope they will pay for our ideas – how can they if we don’t make the rules
- We must make things happen
- We cannot invoice because we sell a sports car from the scrap yard and present it as small VW without wheels – why should they pay.
- We must get out of this junk yard mentality
- A sports car belongs in a smart showroom – we must act and walk the talk of excellence
- If we act and talk as poor man, how can we be rich man
